Welcome New Ministry Center Directors

Recently the interim director of Forest Park Ministry Center Leatha Sturgeon is now the director at Valley Park Ministry Center. Leatha is very dedicated to the ministry at Valley Park and enjoys helping the guests that come to the center as she guides them toward finding an abundant life. Leatha was first a client at Valley Park and then was a volunteer there for eleven years.

Donna McCullough comes to us from Heritage Baptist Church as the Forest Park Ministry Center Director. She and her husband have been on several mission trips to Mexico and are involved at church through teaching the Singles SS class. They have facilitated Grief Share, Divorce Care, Kids Care and they sing in the choir. Donna is very excited about this new adventure and looks forward to serving.

On Mission

Our MBA summer missionaries have been very busy this summer. They have assisted at Valley Park and Forest Park Ministry Centers and led Backyard Bible Clubs (BYBC) in and around Montgomery. Their first stop was in the Ridgecrest neighborhood at Ed and Jerry Yancey's home. Our summer missionaries enjoyed teaching the twelve children who attended the BYBC. Ridgecrest members, Russell Rose and Steven Hall, assisted the summer missionaries that week! The Yancey’s have been hosting BYBC groups for many years in their front yard. THANK YOU, Yancey’s, for bringing Jesus to the neighborhood! Thank you, Russ and Steven! Thank you, Ridgecrest Baptist Church, for being on mission in Montgomery!

The summer missionaries will be helping Victory Baptist Church with a BYBC the week of July 7-11th and one more after that in the Carriage Hills area.
