Locations Serving In June 1997, an interdenominational chaplain ministry was launched to serve Montgomery Police Department officers by invitation of retired Chief John Wilson. This continues with the ongoing endorsement of Chief Arthur Baylor. Emergency Communications Center In June 2005, the city of Montgomery combined the communications needs of the Montgomery Police and Fire Departments to form the Emergency Communications Center. This ministry continues to meet the needs of the 911 operators, dispatchers and support staff with the endorsement of the director of communications, Mr. R. D. Stuart. In May 2005, this ministry expanded to the Montgomery Fire Department by invitation of Chief John McKee. Montgomery County Sheriff's Office In 2007, Sheriff D. T. Marshall requested the support of the chaplains among his deputies.
