Planning Consultations
Strategic
Planning is a customized process led by an experienced consultant in
which a congregation discovers and/or affirms God’s unique vision for
it at this point in time. Once the specific steps are identified, the
church will be enabled to join God in fulfilling that divinely given
vision.

Leadership
Development
Because
church leadership is both a spiritual gift and an acquired skill the
gift must be recognized and affirmed and the skill developed.
Consequently, leadership development is a strategic priority for the
Montgomery Baptist Association and targeted assistance is offered.

TEAM
BUILDING
Every effective
leader devotes significant time to building a strong leadership team.
Those include both staff and lay leadership teams. The MBA staff
has training and experience in leading both church staff and lay
retreats that focus on building a stronger leadership team. |
Natural
Church Development
The
Natural Church Development Process focuses on church health. Research
has been done in over 1,000 churches on six continents to determine if
there are universal principles that apply to all growing churches
regardless of size, denomination or location. His research determined
that there are eight key principles of church growth.
