Strategic Planning Consultations

Strategic Planning is a customized process led by an experienced consultant in which a congregation discovers and/or affirms God’s unique vision for it at this point in time. Once the specific steps are identified, the church will be enabled to join God in fulfilling that divinely given vision.

Because an outside consultant is usually helpful in successfully completing this process, Rev. Bob Dempsey has prepared himself  to assist churches as a consultant. Bob has served over thirty congregations as a consultant in the past 13 years. The assistance offered:

Customized - Recognizing the uniqueness of each congregation, working with the pastor and church leadership to tailor a process to fit the specific needs of the church at this time.

Experience - Rev. Bob Dempsey was a deacon and a research analyst before being called to vocational Christian service. After graduating from Southern Seminary, Bob served two churches as a Minister of Education.  He has been the Assistant Director of Missions for the last 18 years with responsibility in the areas of church growth and development for the Montgomery Baptist Association. Bob has been the lead consultant or assisted in over 20 church consultations.

Recognized - In 1993, Bob was recognized by the Home Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention as PACT Consultant of the Year for the Eastern half of the United States.
